Austin Hatcher Foundation to Host “Cellarbration” Blind Wine Tasting

January 26, 2010:  On Friday, February 5th, the Austin Hatcher Foundation will host “Cellarbration,” a blind wine tasting competition, to raise funds for Chattanooga’s Hatch’s house of hope.  The event, sponsored by Athens Distibuting, Hennen’s and The Walden Club will take place at The Walden Club.  Teams of one or two persons pay a $25 per person entry fee and bring 3 bottles of the same red wine to enter into the contest.  2 of the team’s bottles are covered and numbered for the blind tasting, while each team’s the 3rd bottle will be reserved and displayed in the “cellar.”
Teams will be competing against each other for the most popular wine, voted on by all entered teams.  The team with the most popular wine of the night will go home with the “cellar” which will consist of $500 worth of wine donated by Athens Distributing as well as the 3rd bottle of every entered team.
This is going to be a fun evening filled with wine, hors devours, Gigi’s cupcake minis and a little friendly competition.  Cellarbration will take place from 7 -10, with voting beginning at 8:45.  For more information, or to reserve your tickets, go to www.hatcherfoundation.org/cellarbration or email jenny@hatcherfoundation.org.
