About this Role

The Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer’s mission is to erase the effects of pediatric cancer and optimize each child’s quality of life through essential specialized intervention beginning at the time of diagnosis and continuing throughout survivorship. The Foundation provides services to children with cancer as well as their families through the Education Advancement Center. The foundation provides all services at no cost to the families. Services are funded solely by the generous donations of its supporters.

  • Hours: Foundation’s office hours: M-Thurs 8:30-5:30; Fr 8:30-12:30; Intern Hours- Flexible based on internship requirements and the Foundation’s hours of operation
  • Duration: August 25, 2025- December 5, 2025

  • Learn about the Foundation’s history, vision, mission, and impact
  • Promote the company’s vision and create awareness for the Foundation while learning and adhering to Foundation Brand Guidelines
  • Prepare, plan, and execute research protocols for in-house research studies
  • Become well-versed on the SimCraft Technology associated with our in-house driving simulators
  • Communicate well with IRB entities for approval on research studies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Current enrollment in Master's Program for psychological science, research, or similar
  • Past and present involvement in research studies and running research participants.
