Austin Hatcher Foundation to Hold Kickin’ It For Kids With Cancer Game in Partnership With Chattanoo

CHATTANOOGA, TENN. (August 14, 2019) – As school “kicks off” again, the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer is partnering with the Chattanooga Red Wolves SC for a “Kickin’ It For Kids With Cancer” soccer game this Saturday.
Kickoff is 7 p.m. at David Stanton Field as the Chattanooga Red Wolves SC hosts North Texas SC in the United Soccer League season. The Austin Hatcher Foundation will have T-shirts on sale to raise funds and awareness of the foundation’s mission to erase the effects of pediatric cancer on young patients and their family members.

Chattanooga Red Wolves SC is committed to supporting children courageously battling pediatric cancer, and we are grateful to be a resource in their fight,” said Sean McDaniel, President and General Manager of the Chattanooga Red Wolves SC.
This will be the second of two Kickin’ It games this year resulting from the Austin Hatcher Foundation’s new relationships with local soccer teams. The foundation will also renew its longtime partnership with the Lee University Lady Flames at the ninth-annual game on October 11. Presenting sponsors are Winn Smiles and Steam Logistics of Chattanooga.
In addition to the dual benefits of raising funds and awareness for the foundation, the Kickin’ It games also serve as a fun, diversionary activity for children and families who the foundation serves in their battle against cancer. Those children will be invited to walk onto the field with players for a special recognition before the game; they will also be able to watch the game from a special family zone and enjoy a fun activity at halftime.
