  • $17 for 17 years of free essential services for the whole family.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (November 15, 2024) - For 17 years, the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer has provided free, essential services for every family member affected by pediatric cancer for their entire lifetime. This Giving Tuesday, the Foundation is asking the community to pledge $17 toward their $17,000 goal through the “Whole Family, Whole Care” campaign.

This campaign, open until midnight on December 3rd, will help raise funds to support the Foundation’s mission to erase the effects of pediatric cancer and optimize each child’s quality of life beginning at the time of diagnosis and continuing throughout survivorship.

Childhood cancer is not only a medical dilemma; it affects every member of the family in many different ways. This campaign showcases how each family member benefits from the myriad of integrated supportive care services provided through the foundation. $17 can pay for art supplies, $170 can pay for a music and drumming session, $1,700 can pay for 9 mental health counseling sessions, and $17,000 can pay for 6 neurocognitive tests. Any gift, no matter the amount, will have a tangible impact on families facing pediatric cancer.
